When it comes to sneakers Adidas is clearly on the uprise and looking at all the statistics and sale stats it‘s only a matter of time until they take over Nike. Maybe this is only a phase, but it seems that Adidas is clearly on a winning streak against their opponent innovative wise. While it seems that Nike comes up with new models and silhouettes, Adidas focus lies on making the best out of their existing sneakers and technology. Collabs don‘t come short at the german sneaker company and we have gathered together the hottest Adidas collabs so far in our opinion. Feel free to let us know which one is your favorite!

1. Overkill x EQT

Released on 20th of May this 2017, the OVERKILL X ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT came in two colorways leaned on the coat of arms of Kreuzberg where the first Overkill shop was opened. The ADV come with a white upper mixed with grey and red tones whereas the FUTURE came with a black and grey heathered mesh upper mixed with a grey leather overlay-enforcement and red-colored lacing straps on each side.

2. Neighborhood x Iniki Runner

Iniki x Neighboorhood

Adidas released a huge amount of colorways for the Iniki this year but none of them looks nearly as good as the one they did with NEIGHBORHOOD. Featuring a black boost sole combined with a black upper made out of Primeknit and a suede toe cap this Iniki stands out amongst all the others being the only one with a black midsole so far. NEIGHBORHOOD branding can be found on the outside and heel tab on each shoe. See for yourself:

3. Nice Kicks x NMD

Nice Kicks NMD

„Started from the bottom now we‘re here“ In April 2007 Matt Halfhill decided to bring value to the sneaker industry by providing credible news on sneakers and their history. Almost then years later his brand Nice Kicks collabed with Adidas to create one of the hottest colorways for the NMD R1 so far and comes with a black and red primeknit upper, a two toned gumsole and a Nice Kicks branded heel tab. Originally released for 170$ it prices now at 1200$, we‘re all praying for a restock.

4. Pharrel Williams x NMD

Last year in July Adidas suprised us with the first drop of the Pharrell Williams collab that was rumored about a lot after Pharrell was seen wearing a special version of one of the most popular silhouettes. The prices went through the roof immidiately after they sold out and are now at an all time high. It is rumored that new versions are on the way and will probably release this November bringing us new colorways including Sun Glow/EQT Yellow and Multicolor. What is your favorite colorway so far and which one would you love to see? A white upper with black lettering and a black boost sole is what WE dream about!

5. Haven x Ultra Boost

Triple Black Adidas Sneakers play in their own league. They‘re awesome, they‘re mostly F&F(Friends&Family) releases and they make the heart of the true bred sneakerhead go wild. Top that off with the fact that vancouver based Haven shop released an all black Ultra Boost with Vancouver based Haven shop and you get one of the best sneakers of all time. A cageless lacing adds to the overall design and makes it an outstanding choice for every occasion.

6. Y-3 PureBoost Triple White

Y3 Triple White

Yohji Yamamoto is really an unique individual and is well-known for creating outside-the-box-thinking designs. His way of approaching the creation of fashion is perfectly represented in the ways he collabed with Adidas. The triple white PureBoost combines simplicity, sportivness and a well executed design which makes it a top pic on our list. Guess what? There‘s a triple black version coming later this year, so stay excited and subscribe to the newsletter to never miss out on new releases.

7. Offspring x NMD R1

Offspring x NMD

A more luxurios and sophisticated approach on the design of the NMD featuring a dark brown leather heel clasp and nubuck leather on the quarter panel that was treated with a laser cuter to create subtle details. The cherry on top is the detailed insole in black and white that rounds up the overall look of the ‚Desert Sand‘ NMD R1.

8. SNS x Social Status x Ultra Boost

Sneakersnstuff x Social Status Ultra Boost

Black leather tongue, black toe cap and a black suede cage mixed with a thick black and white checkered upper are killing it on this Ultra Boost that was done in collaboration with US Stores Sneakers‘n‘Stuff and Social Status. It was released in february this year and sold out fast since the retail was set pretty low with 200$ for this amazing design. You can get it for around 400$ on user-based marketplaces like StockX or GOAT.

9. Pusha T x EQT Support ADV

Pusha T EQT

Combine two legends and what do you get? Named ‚King Push‘ this one comes with a grey primeknit upper mixed with fishscale details in the front and back of the shoe. Might be some references here but we‘ll leave that up to you. The tags on the laces top off the 90‘s inspired silhouette and make it a top pick for our list.

10. Parley Ultra Boost X

Parley Ultra Boost

The most amazing collaborator in this list is for sure Parley. Together with Adidas they takle enviromental issues and create an awesome and creative product while cleaning up the oceans of our world. Plastic is collected and reused in sneakers like the Parley Ultra Boost X, not only great for the world but also really good looking and stylish.
