What brought you into the sneaker game?

I have 2 older brothers, one of which was very much into TNs as I was growing up. Due to me being the youngest I was always the one that got the hand downs, this wasn’t a bad thing when it came to the sneaker side of things however it motivated me to be able to obtain my own when the time came. So I started with general release air max ones, 95s and the odd Puma Clyde.

Although I have moved away from GR purchases I’m still very much interested in the silhouettes that companies are dishing out. Some silhouettes don’t get as much credit as they deserve, namely the LXCON.

What would you like to see more in the sneaker game?

I’d like to see more education, more inclusivity and general companionship.

On the whole the game and people in it are friendly but what you find sometimes is some people mock other peoples levels of knowledge. Instead of mocking I’d love to see the older heads getting behind the new heads and developing their education. Unfortunately I feel the hype shoe has a hand in this issue.

Going to the shoes themselves I think GRs need to be improved and not in the CW sense. A lot of people have complained recently about the quality control of GRs and I think this needs to improve.

What’s the latest sneaker you bought?

The latest sneaker I bought was the Air jordan 1 satin black toe.

I love the aesthetic of the satin shattered backboard and how the materials work so when I saw a red satin shoe coming I knew I had to do everything I could to get them.

Where can people find you when they want to connect with you and what can they expect?

You can find me on my personal IG: @twoods8743

On my sneaker community page @kickframes or kickframes on Facebook.

I like to think I’m friendly and welcoming to all, I want to help this community grow and be better so I’m open to anyone.

Regards, Tom
